Spotify redefined the experience for concert-goers in Indonesia and Thailand for their <Spotify on Stage> concert series.
The Context How might we get fans excited and Tweeting about Spotify on Stage, especially without infringing on content rights? The ambition is for fans to look forward to Spotify on Stage as if it is a not-to-be-missed yearly festival visiting town.
The Approach The analysis of the conversation from the previous year tells us that fans were excited and speaking about Spotify on Stage only before and after the concert. During the concert, fans barely spoke about the performances in association with <Spotify on Stage>. With that, we saw an opportunity to create a reason for fans to engage with Spotify as a brand. We lined up activities on the concert day, including an only-on-Twitter Q&A and showing fansβ Tweets on the very stage their favourite idols were performing on.
